Things are as slow as ever here. We get attacked once in a while but with the base being as big as it is sometimes I don't even hear it. I have to travel to Baghdad later this month for a Behavioral Health Commanders conference, which should be about as fun as watching paint dry. I feel well entrenched into that mid-deployment, mind-numbing, hot dust bowl. At least once it starts raining then I'll be that much closer to coming home.
